Hemper Totally Rad Arcade Bong

The Hemper Totally Rad Arcade Bong is a stand-up arcade cabinet in borosilicate glass — marquee at the top, screen and control panel on the front face, the cabinet body forming the water chamber. It was Hemper's April 2025 theme release, and it's one of the shapes that translates best into glass, because an arcade cabinet is already a box with a flat base.

Every Hemper theme is produced as a single monthly batch rather than an ongoing catalogue line. When the April 2025 run sold through at source, that was it — which is why the same design turns up on collector wish lists a year later rather than on clearance shelves.

How it performs

The cabinet footprint is the practical advantage here. Most novelty glass compromises on stability to get the shape; this one gets its shape from a wide, flat, rectangular base, so it sits more securely than a straight tube of the same height. It takes a standard bowl and downstem, holds a normal amount of water, and pulls like a conventional beaker. The screen and control-panel detailing is purely decorative and doesn't get in the way of the airpath.

The XL is a proper step up in scale — taller cabinet, bigger chamber, more weight — and the extra height gives a longer pull. The regular is the one for a desk or bedside; the XL is the one for a shelf you want people to notice.

Looking after it

A box shape has internal corners a round chamber doesn't, and residue collects in corners first. Fresh water every session keeps it clear; a warm salt-and-alcohol rinse once a week does the rest. Does the cabinet shape make it hard to clean?
Slightly more corners than a beaker, but nothing a proper rinse doesn't reach. Clean it little and often.
