Hemper Trippy Shroom Bong

The Hemper Trippy Shroom Bong takes a mushroom — domed cap, tapered stem — and turns it into a water pipe, with colour work run through the glass. It was Hemper's April 2023 theme and it's one of the designs where the shape genuinely suits the function: the cap becomes the chamber, the stem becomes the neck.

How it performs

Because the form follows the natural shape of a water pipe rather than fighting it, this draws more like conventional glass than most novelty pieces. The domed cap holds a good volume of water and the tapered stem gives a comfortable mouthpiece angle. Standard bowl and downstem.

The XL scales the whole thing up and is the more striking of the two on a shelf.

Looking after it

Colour work through the glass rather than printed on the surface means it stands up to cleaning better than painted pieces. Standard isopropyl and coarse salt works fine — our cleaning guide covers it.
