Hemper Donut XL Bong

The Hemper Donut XL Bong is a glazed ring doughnut in borosilicate glass at XL scale — the glaze and sprinkles worked through the glass in colour, the ring forming the chamber and the neck rising from the top. It was Hemper's November 2023 theme and one of the most instantly recognisable pieces in their run.

How it performs

The ring sits on a flat edge, which gives it a broad, stable base for its height. Standard bowl and downstem. The chamber follows the ring, so there's more water volume than you'd expect from the front view, and the draw is cool and smooth.

Hemper's XL pieces are a significant step up from the regular releases — taller, wider in the chamber and noticeably heavier. This is a centrepiece rather than a bedside piece.

Hemper's SKUs carry the date: JWP1123 reads as November 2023, the month this theme shipped. It's a small thing, but it's what turns a novelty bong into a collectable — every piece can be placed in the run, and the run doesn't repeat.

Looking after it
