RIPNDIP x Hemper Nermal UFO XL Bong

The RIPNDIP x Hemper Nermal UFO XL Bong puts Lord Nermal — the streetwear label's cat character — into Hemper's UFO Vortex design at XL scale. The saucer forms the chamber, the neck rises from the dome, and Nermal is worked into the glass as the pilot. It's a December 2025 release and one of two pieces in the RIPNDIP collaboration.

Collaboration runs are produced in smaller numbers than Hemper's standard monthly themes and tend to be the first things to go. This one is licensed, dated and limited, which is the trifecta for collectors.

How it performs

The UFO Vortex is one of Hemper's longest-running shapes, and the reason is that the saucer geometry works — a wide, low chamber on a flat base, very stable, with plenty of water surface. It takes a standard bowl and downstem. The XL version scales the saucer up and gives a cool, smooth draw from the larger volume.

Hemper's XL pieces are a significant step up from the regular releases — taller, wider in the chamber and noticeably heavier. This is a centrepiece rather than a bedside piece.

Looking after it

The saucer chamber rinses easily. Keep the character artwork out of long isopropyl soaks — a swirl and rinse is fine, an overnight bath isn't. Fresh water each session. See our guide on how to clean a bong.
